About Webideo

Webideo is an easy-to-use interface for FFmpeg. Upload a video, pick an operation, fill in a few fields, and get your result back — all without a server. Because it runs on FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, every operation executes locally in your browser: your video is never uploaded anywhere.

FFmpeg is a free, open-source project that handles almost every media operation you can think of — trimming, converting, compressing, resizing, and far more. Webideo wraps a small, growing subset of that power in a simple web UI.

Webideo itself is open source too. Find the code, report issues, or contribute at the project's GitHub repository. It's released under the MIT License.
